Shoe sales are seeing huge growth on U.S. TikTok Shops. According to data from Charm.io year-over-year volume for the period from July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026, saw shoe sales hit $447.9 million, versus July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2025, when the total volume was just $158.3 million. Year-over-year, the No. 1 category by sales volume were sneakers, or casual trainers, up 117.9 percent to $117.7 million. Slippers were second, up 285.4 percent to $108.3 million, followed by sandals and flip-flops up 244.3 percent to $105.9 million. Rounding out the fourth and fifth spots were women's boots, up 144.1 percent and mules and clogs, up nearly 180 percent to $39.4 million from $14.1 million, respectively. Meanwhile, the social media platform quietly began testing on June 1 a paid membership program for frequent TikTok Shop buyers called TikTok Shop Plus, similar to Amazon Prime. Testing for the monthly fee ranges from $6 to $15, according to sources as TikTok has not officially disclosed the pilot program. Coresight apparel and apparel analyst Aditya Kaushik told Footwear News that "TikTok Shop Plus could be relevant for footwear because shoes are highly influenced by discovery, trends and social influence."
